Haha. This is exactly what I talk about with younger guys in the gym that think juice is everything. You either have "IT" or you don't. Period.

Sadly, most just refuse to accept it.

A high school kid isn't supposed to look like that [emoji50]...

I looked like Mowgli from the jungle book in high school

Genetics aren't needed to be good but they're required to be the best.

I honestly don't know so this is more of a question. But doesn't the NFL have salary caps for rookies for the first 3 years or something like that?

I am from Australia mate so I have no idea, for sports they play here -Australian Football, Rugby league, Rugby Union our absolute best of the best are getting 1.5m a year (AUD), this young fella signed up for 7.5m a year USD as the best rookie. Unbelievable amount of money for a kid.

Genetics is right - holy shit does he look like a grown ass man with those other HS kids. God Bless him and hopefully he will have his money managed for the long-run.

Last I read more than 50 percent of NFL players file bankruptcy within 5 years of retiring. That's staggering to say the least...that number could be higher.

They do, but he went #1, which has the highest payout...in his case, $30mm. Believe there is a sliding scale from there as you go down in draft order.

Elite genetics indeed.

What would this kid look like if he pursued bodybuilding?

Its a HUGE factor but some people just don't want to believe it. Sure people can do amazing things with average genetics but the ELITE level athletes are usually the ones with that 'something special'.

I'm 32 5'8 and 244 pounds with very little fat.
10 years ago I was a 135 pounds of skin and bones.
Juice was everything for me...just saying.
