Obviously it's very newsworthy, but the problem is the massive amount of exposure is sensationalizing it and only leads to other fucktards looking to leave their legacy too. The media doesn't give a shit because of the potential for advertising dollars and politicians sure don't either because they can try and spin it to push their agenda.

Definitely some of that going on for sure. The event is being covered responsibly by some media outlets while others choose to pursue their political agendas.

I was at the pool at Mandalay Bay Saturday. My friend who was with me had friends at the show. His friends wife was shot and killed. So tragic.

Wow, it is a small world. I did not imagine any of us would have some kind of connection to any of the dead there. It just makes me feel sick to think about what happened. It also makes me a bit scared to attend events that big, in a big city. I feel like my family is fairly safe in our area since it isn't a major city, but I suppose you never know.

My wife and I and another couple talked about attending this even last month. It just didn't work out for us being able to go.

Sadly, I think you can pass all the laws and regulations you want and these things still happen (whether with a gun, knife, truck, airplane, etc). I think the value of human life has been greatly diminished. Why has this happened? I'll leave that to the experts.

he had no criminal record. the guns he had were illegal (as far as I know)..


from what I can tell, he broke several laws to carry out his evil deed.. something tells me more laws wouldn't have stopped him.



if all guns were banned, he still could have gotten a gun probably (terrorists in France)..


or he could have just used a truck of peace (also terrorists in france).


or a knife (china)

That's what i mean. We can ban this, that and the other but if someone is set on committing an act like this there is very little anyone can do to stop him.

I am the last guy to think of conspiracies. In fact I scoff at people who think every god damn thing is a conspiracy especially that planes didnt hit the world trade center or the pentagon (I have a brother in law who worked in the pentagon at that time...a plane hit the pentagon).....but something seems real off on this one....like it just doesnt add up.

An elder guy who is a multi millionaire, who loves to gamble, who worked in some capacity for Lockheed once, who nobody seems to have one thing bad to say about (ex wife, friends, brother, neighbors)...who everyone says was a friendly guy, had no ties to any kind of rogue groups or ideology....takes an armory into a vegas hotel smashes out the windows and starts shooting everyone at a concert?

It doesnt add up. Just doesnt make sense. Something seems off here......I hope they have videos of him walking into the hotels with bags and bags of these guns to prove this because without that this seems so peculiar

I dont know how many of you guys are on facebook but the ones that are.....tell me you arent shocked by what you see on your timeline from people. When i see a tragic event happen like this my first thought is "where the hell do people like this come from?".....and then i read 100 CRAZY freaking posts from various people on facebook (and some of it is bonafide crazy...)....and you sit back and think "oh.....I see where it comes from....there are alot of mentally skewered people out there"....the stuff ive seen on facebook in the last half a year...if thats a snapshot of society....christ....what a mess

There are actual people on facebook that believes this was all a hoax, noone got shot and 22 thousand people are in on it...."wheres the blood...its fake!"....there are actual people on facebook that believe Trump has a machine that caused the Houston and Florida Hurricanes for racial cleansing and they will argue it til their last iota. And on and on and on....Social Media is allowing straight out idiots to get a voice....

It's getting out of hand. I'm just baffled by this crap. I'm worried about my children growing up in this day in age.

Children shouldn't have to grow up in this. That's the scariest part of it for me. My children are my life. My family is my life. I would do anything to protect them. This world is getting out of hand.

Even if they are doing it to "troll" does it make them any better? What sort of person does that. They are creating fake pages asking if anyone has seen this man/woman as they were in Las Vegas that night and can't be found. The pictures they put are things like porn stars in normal clothes. I am on you-tube a lot and obviously Facebook and some of the things people genuinely think are worrying. It's no surprise this world is such a mess as there are millions of people with half a brain and some serious mental issues.
