The BMI index is the most useless and deceptive medical criteria ever devised by the medical community. I've commented on this before. We are all obese. My last visit, the doctor commented he didn't think he had ever seen anyone that muscular with such obvious low bodyfat. I asked what was my BMI. His answer was "in your case, it doesn't matter". Tell that to the insurance company.

DAMN, I have 500,000 and wife 300, 000 policy for 30 yrs. It cost me for both $65 month. Just got it last year. She is 25 and me 30.


They knew my BMI, but also took my waist measurement. The place I use have a formula based on height, weight waist measurement and then look at your cholesterol scores and whatever else they do with the blood sample they took.

They measured me fully - waist, shoulders, chest, hips, etc. They still wouldn't budge. Went through a full physical - blood tests, urine tests, stool tests, psych test, etc, etc. Everything was perfect.

My daughter's schooling (private pre-school, primary, junior high, senior high, college) gets fully paid (up to $500k)
