Yes, it can put a lot of pressure of the sacroiliac joint but so can a deep split squat. Like Phil said a SLDL can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Many people don't slightly bend their knees (at heavier loads) nor do they maintain a neutral spine (or arched if mainly concerned with hitting the hamstrings and low back).

Well

The Chinese use the same symbol for opportunity and danger.

And thanks Dave for video. Don't recall ever seeing this exercise
executed so perfectly.
You haven't seen ME perform this exercise Alfresco... Um, and u probably won't b/c I'm too fat and I don't use enough weight for the "impressive" factor haha :)

If your not lifting more than you can, and your "accessory" muscles are strong as well, then everything will lock into place, and it is a great lift. Any compound that is done wrong or trying too much weight, or not conditioned for will be a problem. Its a kinetic chain. Got to strengthen weak spots as well.

Just because someone has a fancy degree/title etc doesnt mean they know what the hell they are talking about.

If someone is a Doctor, people take their word like it was a god that spoke to them.

I have met so many doctors that dont have a clue, im fuckin scared of em now, i do my own research before i trust ANY doctors word. Even if HE think his helping me, the information he learned in school may not be the best for me.
Western medecine is more corrupt then a third world country.

I nominate this as post of the year!!!
