Its being fired up tomorrow...
The Universe started with a Big Bang – but we don’t fully understand how or why it developed the way it did. The LHC will let us see how matter behaved a tiny fraction of a second after the Big Bang. Researchers have some ideas of what to expect – but also expect the unexpected!
like a mini black hole that should be, in theory, ripped apart by earths gravity because, apparently, there is not enough mass in the vacuum to sustain it...
but no worries its not the Large Hadron Collider you should fear...noooo...its the:
Very Large Hadron Collider
that will take decades to build and that will be the end of days 100% LOL...most world scientists agree that theres nothing to worry about being that such colliders already exist on a smaller scale but the question begs itsef: at what point will they push the envelope too far and create a real black hole? take this Very Large Hadron Collider that sounds like exactly the kind of thing that is capable of pulling the plug in the bath tub that is our universe and all matter will go down the drain in to some other dimension in space and time...
if you see a scientist near you: smack him! LOL...Alex
