Anyone train using Labrada's Mass with Class program? Looks pretty solid and realalistic.
What are your thoughts on reverse pyramid? I knoe Pyramid is not that great because of fatigue what about about reverse?
To start there is no perfect program. The perfect routine is one you can stick with and progress with. Labrada's program is solid with the main staples. A compound movement followed by a iso or another compound. Most mass building programs feature this. Haney has a similar one on his site.
If you want to incorporate a reverse pyramid which is better than the traditional pyramid you can. Just do not get carried away with the sets.
2 warm ups then a 6-8-10 is good for compound. A 10-12-15 is good for an iso.
Remember diet is very important. Without the calories you will not grow from any routine.
Just enjoy and live life.
Let me know if there is anything else.
reverse pyramids ahve been aound for a very long time.. don ross used to promote them in various articles.. i know labrada was also fond of them.. as y ou proabaly know, it is where you start with your heaviest weight (after warmup) and get 10 reps to failure( the rep range is y our choice) take a short rest (maybe a minute) lower the weight (10% or so) and get another set.. usually three sets is the max for thses and even labrada was a proponent of low volume.. but, it sure makes the workout fly by..
