Like Chris250 said , beggining of 90s, thats like pinnacle of bodybuilding for me.
Thats not to say there arent great bbs today but many of the pleasing phisigues get overlooked and akward looking mass monsters get better placings
Well this mleads me to my next point,if as it seems most say old school why is it then we dont see as meny pro-bodybuilders looking more like they did in days gone by? and would the judges let them win if they did?
i think it's just what the sport has become it's a little of what the people want to see (the mass monsters) and also the judges. if you showed up with that physique i don't think you would be judged well these days.
How about more old school like in the early 90's - Levorne at 228 (first pro wins, 2nd at the Mr.O to Yates) Wheeler at 216 (rookie year wins), Dennis Newman at 93 Nationals or 94 USA's, Or even newer guys, like Dennis James at 226-228 winning the USA's in 98 ???
