I think what it is, is that it is almost unheard of that a forum will actually advertise legit sources here to a noob. They probably come from a site like steroid.com or elitefitness, where asking for sources is an instant ban. Here it isn't the case, so they probably aren't use to that

Ya bro the thread was made to see if anyone else was getting more as of late and the only way to find out is to make a thread. And obviously some other members have received them as well- so what offends you about this topic being discussed? In fact one of them PM today with an apology and explanation which seemed sincere. How am I to know if not pubicly asked otherwise? I get a lot of legit questions and even met up with some guys from the past as I do not want to disable this feature but my inbox fills up with this BS quickly lately.

someone is phishing....I get this all the time...they say that I seem to be knowledgeable but yet have never read any of my fictional posts I am using for my new book...."how to be a Noob and not appear as one"--Tales of an online bullshitter and Narc.
I usually delete or tell the the truth, I don't know and to use the search button.
we need to start screening applicants a little better if possible. no one should be allowed to do anything until they have been a member for 1 month and have at least 30 meaningful posts. just let them use the search button.

i really like the screening or not being able to do anything for a month. there are so many little boys on here, clowns. its annoying

Well my inbox has been receiving numerous requests lately from newer members asking for source information. Anyone else experiencing this? I dont mind answering questions- hell I got a lot I ask others-never regarding that. but I dont get why as of late some newer guys are asking these sorts of questions when they can read reviews and such on their own- as do I. Interesting to read IMO. Kinda making me paranoid and uneasy. I simply do not reply and then they enable that feature aknowledging reciept of message Anyone else? Makes me want to disable private message feature.

What's wrong with them asking for that? Hell, a sponsor a while back (Viking Pharmacy) made two different names and compiled a good amount of posts on those names and posted in their own thread saying the source was legit and best around and blah blah blah..Needless to say, a month later no one received products and left the board..Scammed everyone..They were from Sweeden...Some times reading the sponsor threads are a little misconceiving than people think..

As for myself, when there is a questionable sponsor due to many others not receiving orders and such, I PM a member who was in the thread who had good/bad experience with them..I ask nothing personal, just about the quality..I also receive PM asking the same thing when I've purchased from a sponsor...Some people just want a little reassurance...

As for calling out the "newbs", we were all "newbs" once..Remember that..

Sometimes reviews can be misleading and maybe the person is looking for guidance. I think Narcs and LE have better things to do than PM regular members asking about sources.

Guys it's simple! Read the rules, Do you're reserch, and ask your questions according to the the rules of the best ADVANCED BODYBUILDING BOARD on the net. OH, and don't pinpoint one guy on PM's! Have the balls to follow the rules, learn the lingo and go from there!

Coming from UK-muscle, I can confirm it does take a bit of getting used to that sources are more openly asked for!!

I probably spent 100+ hrs reading before I took my first shot. Educate yourself as much as possible (FROM RELIABLE INFO SOURCES) then ask questions.

i 100% agree here. God knows i spent countless hours using the search button before i posted 1 thing on here. I still dont start threads (just add my .02 in once in awhile) because I KNOW that any question i have, has been answered at least 3-5 times.

i also check the OTHER forums (Beginner's, Articles, Sponsors, etc) before i post a question. There is a wealth of information on this site people!
