New Tibialis Training Tool

{SOME} people don't need to worry about putting nice rims on a beat up Honda civic that needs work in other areas though 😶‍🌫️
 
Good observation.

10 min Belt off to start. 40 min at 10 cals per min. Then walk backwards belt on ten min.

The first are a killer. The young man I am training showed me the belt off. He was great (still is) soccer player and I think does it for his knee health.

I actually saw older men doing it and laughed but tried it one day and I now do it as well. Funny how we cAn still learn constantly after decades at it.

If you’re looking at the rims you might miss some of the dents though 😂
 
Work my Tibs off the back of the lying Hamstrings. Every gym has one of those. No before pics, but these definitely have helped my development in this area.

edit - so I don’t know how to post a video. 1 sec is too large? You will have to imagine what this looks like Lol.
 
I have been training tibs for years and have tried a few options:

Tib Bar (https://www.roguefitness.com/rogue-tf-1) - Best for growth for sure as you can get a good stretch at the end and can really load the weight. I'll even pause in the stretched position for a second on every rep and flex the calf. I have a Rogue but I would get the ATG Equipment one if I had to do it over since I've heard good things and it's cheaper.

Solo Tib (https://thetibbarguy.com/products/the-solo-tib-bar) - To your point @danieltx there is a stability element to it which I like and I can change the shin position and get different angles. I can't hammer the weight like the Tib Bar though. I'm primarily using this now for all Tib training since I have deprioritized growth.

Tib Machine (https://titan.fitness/products/titan-fitness-tibia-dorsi-calf-machine) - Bought this in 2022 and sold it shortly after. The stretch wasn't as good as the tib bar unless you play with the seated position a bit. Definitely didn't feel as good as the top two options.

You mean sittin facing the pad an curling it with your toes?
 
I gotta try this just to see how it feels, I’m short as fuck so it may not fit me great but don’t know til you try.

Yeah I am 6’4, so might not be the same for someone shorter. Some machines are adjustable, but even without I suspect you can make it work. Just have to get the big toe on the pad and You should be able to pull it.
