Lance's placing had nothing to do with or without doping. Who gives a shit about that anyway. The whole peloton is pretty much on something. The guy was in retirement for about 4 years and is 38 years old. For him to place third after a 4 year absence is truly amazing. Plus Contador is the best climber and time trialist in the peloton now. So there was no way Lance was going to win. Wait until next year, with his Radioshack sponsored team. Lance will again be number one and at 39 years old.

Who cares if he's "enhanced"

People need to get over the fact that doping is here to stay in professional cycling...it is just as common as it is in bodybuilding competition. Of course Lance uses performance enhancing drugs. But so does (almost) everybody else in the peleton. With or without the drugs, Lance Armstrong is in the top 1% of endurance athletes. He was a freak even before he was famous, and a third place finish at 38 years old in the hardest endurance event known to humanity is amazing with or without drugs.

I have to ask, do youknow him personally? I only ask because you seem to have deep distain for him like maybe he dumped your sister or stole your girlfriend or something. It's one thing to say he is using but now he is a criminal. Also you have less than 50 posts in a couple of years but this distain for Lance got two more from you. How is Lance Armstrong a criminal??? Lance is actually a stand up guy and has never talked down on any cyclist who has been caught doping, he actually praises them for bring great riders and competitors. You write like you are not from the USA, which might explain why you have such hatred for Mr. Armstrong. You are most likely from France, Germany, or Belgium where cycling is huge. Some of you guys over there, get so bitter when an American places well in the Tour. Get over it. Some German fans were actually spitting on Lance during a stage in this years race. Just shows you the classlessness and jealosy of some European cycling fans. Jealous...possibly, European...most likely, a complete tosser...definately.
Let's share a few facts here instead of giving jealous opinions and making accusations with no evidence to back it up.
1. Cycling is the most tested sport (for drugs) on earth, Lance Armstrong being the most tested athlete in history...fact.
2. Given the hatred that most Europeans (particularly the French) have for Lance there is no doubt that they would have done their utmost to catch him using drugs and indeed they did try their utmost for seven consecutive years but failed to come up with one single positive test...fact.
3. Urine & blood samples which were kept in a lab and taken from Lance during his 7 victories have recently been tested with new drug detection procedures (for CERA & blood doping agents etc) and all proved to be negative. This is common knowledge amongst the leading officials of the UCI but as of yet it has not been officially published and more than likely wont be published until Lance finally retires...fact.
4. Lance Armstrong was tested either 22 or 24 times during the recent Tour de France (i'm awaiting confirmation of the exact number) which included urine, blood & hair samples...no other competitor was tested more than 5 times including the race winner Alberto Contador who was actually tested only twice, the results of which have not been published yet...fact.

As Lance Armstrong has never been caught using drugs he is undoubtedley one of or possibly the greatest athlete to have lived given his seven consecutive victories and before you all start jumping to conclusions i'm not a relation but i am European.

Stupidman reminds me of one of those guys at the gym who is eager to express his opinion and give advice on training /diet to the first person that glances in his direction....when infact he is completely uninformed, has not done any research and is completely out of shape....you all know the type guys, those dicks that you'd rather take a chance benching on your own than ask him for a spot.
