Here is a little something that my brother and I threw together in about an hour in between working on our Black Sabbath tribute.

It's a small token of appreciation to the founder of the group Bathory, who died of heart failure in 2004. As crappy as the music was, it served as musical inspiration for my feeble mind. We didn't spend much time on it and were recording it off memory and left out a bridge, but it was fun and came from the heart.

The song is Born for Burning, track 3 on their album The Return...it was a song that Quorthon wrote in memory of a witch who was executed in 16th century Germany (maybe was someone in his bloodlines, who knows).

Here's a link for information

btw, you guys can say it sucks, because I know it does, just thought some metalheads from that era may get a kick out of it. :p

Black Sabbath Rules! Wish Ozzy never left them. Loved the Ozzy era.

I liked that, man. Was that Satan singing?

Well said littlemack !

You would love our tribute set man, nothing past 1975, when the last true great Sabbath album was released...Sabotage

Though War Pigs usually brings the most positive reaction from people. Those opening chords are overwhelming.

Sounds good to me- Temp

hahaha, thanks BBJ and Tempest. It wasn't too bad I guess, considering how quickly we threw it together, it was just a spur of the moment thing for fun. Our drummer wasn't even there, just my brother tapping it out on a drum machine.

It really wasn't meant for any other ears than our own, but I know there's some lurking black metal fans around here, so I tossed it up. :)

Satan? Well, I might have to take the 5th on that. It was me, with the help of a modulator, but perhaps my demonic side that I try to keep dormant showed through :p My vocal chords will pay for it for a few days lol

Needs more cowbell

ya, drums were limited tman, wasn't our drummer, it was my brother tapping out on a drum machine, we didn't even take the time to program it in, so it was kept painfully simple.

I thought it was awesome. I gotta see how I can copy it onto my IPOD.

Here's the original monsters of metal for you littlemack (note: this is the REAL deal, not my wimpy band)...:)

(has a more bone crushing first 3 minutes of a song ever been recorded, even to this date?)

(the first 40 seconds of War Pigs is just mind blowing, Iommi's sound is like a gigantic prehistoric monster!)
