How much protein do you aim for a day? Per lb of bodyweight? Or per lb LBM?
 
Usually about 400 grams per day, spread out about 6 meals per day.

I see your trying to distinguish whats more better beetween 1/lb or 1g/Lb LBM... I have heard both ends for the rule of thumb and my opinion is dont even worry about it. its going to be a slighl change to overall intake unless your some fat ass, and protien is not exactly as controlable as some like a pill, with ease I mean. You have to be very dedicated documented and strict to eat the exact same "ideal" ammount every single day. Im not preparing for a show, I just try to have a constant intake trhough out the dya and I usually will hit within 50-75grams overall for same ammount of protien per day. dividing it throughout 6-7 meals...
 
Yeah I try for 400g/day. My lbm is 197, weight is 219.

Thing is you always here 'more is not better' etc. I used to take in about 1g/lb and then doubled up and it has seemed to make a big difference.

Anyone here take in lower amounts of protein? Like 1g/lb? or less?
 
I get between 400-500g at 210lbs.

13 scoops whey through the day and night
1-2 whole eggs
1 yougart
2 cups skim milk
12-16oz meat ED
 
16 oz tuna, 8 oz read meat, 8 cups skim milk, 200g prot.powder......
 
yea unfortantly since I dont have enough income to buy my own food, I eat the house out within 2 days.. so i owe atleast 80% of my daily intake to my whey.
 
Best to error on the side of too much protein I suppose.
