Hey everyone,
I don't think I've posted here yet, but I read a lot; this may be the best board I've seen for accurate and informed posts. Anyways, before I ask my question, I'll introduce myself. I'm 31, and a recreational bber...no real plans to compete, but maintaining a healthy lifestyle and staying fit and strong are really important to me. I've been lifting weights since 15 and now that I'm retired from competitive sports, bbing has become my main athletic priority. Not a big guy at 215 and 5'11, but I'm where I want to be (almost).
Ok, my question. My buddy has come to me looking for some help to get in shape and I can cover off everything regarding diet and cardio to get him started, except that he's allergic to milk. It's not a lactose issue, as lactose free milk products still cause an allergic reaction.
Is there a PWO protein that he can take in that will do? He's not a bber, he's just looking to get fit and put on some muscle. Also, because he's really new to it all, I'd like to reccomend something for him that he can pick up in a brick and mortar store rather than off of the internet...as he is still a bit gun-shy about supplements. I know LBA's will work, and I use them, but is there anything that he can start off with from a store before ordering something online?
Cheeers,
m
