question for Virginia NPC competitors

Is the NPC VA State defunct? I can't find any info on this year's. I think it was held in Roanoke last year, but it didn't seem very well publicized. I used to compete in it, and am thinking about next year...

I am not too far from MD, and the MD State has added an adjunct contest for non-residents, so that is an option.

Not many contests in this area! (Northern VA and Wash. DC)! I go for work sometimes to Akron OH, and there are loads of posters tacked up in the gyms for contests around there. Capital of the free world (DC area) , and almost no decent contests, and no hardcore gyms!!!

I'm originally from Roanoke, and to answer your question, the VA distric NPC isn't much. We usually went to WV or NC. Since you are in Northern VA, I would check out WV, OH and possibly northen KY.

The MD state comp should be good. I think its in October this year in Baltimore.
