scoliosis s shape

I just recently had a chest x ray due to breathing issues which came back negative but the x ray showed I have mild s shaped scoliosis. This is new to me. My dad has scoliosis.

What are some things I can do for scoliosis. And can I countine to workout? I'm 34 years old recovering from shoulder and bicep sugery from the past year so i just started lifting lightly again.

Workout wise what are some muscle groups I should focus on when lifting for my scoliosis?


Current stats I'm 6 ft 245 lbs.
 
Pretty common from what I know. I have it. So I have a tendency to get more knots and muscle tightness on my left side. Hip muscles are usually very tight, and I have to do a LOT of stretching and trigger point work.

Aside from that... Keep on lifting.
 
Your fine man. If you never knew you had it and you lived life before then live life afterward. And if you are serious about doing exercises for it you should see a physical therapist.
 
Thank you my Chiropractor didnt seem to worried. just told me to stretch and exactly what you said if i didnt noticed it before then live life.
