HEAD COLD

I have been training with this head cold for a few days now. I just pop 40mcg of clen. and bring two towels to the gym. the sweat just poors off me. I don't know about the flu though. that seems a little much.

Not smart to even attempt while being sick :D

So Here's The General Rule Of Thumb...

If your symptoms are neck up then its ok more than likely ok to train, but if its neck down then chances are you may have a respiratory infection and it will put added strain on your heart and is not advisable. Particularly if your coughing up green flegm. If your going to do it anyway, then just go real slow and don't get to the point of breaking a sweat.

I don't see how anybody could possibly even think about training if they have the real flu. You will feel sick as shit. The only thing you will want is the bed.

Agreed! :sl:eping-

I think it was the "Sust Flu" the he was referring too! :D

PB

Yeah I think thats what he was refering too as well, "sus flu!" of course thats coded talk that normal joe public wouldnt understand:) At that age he is defenetly on growth and testostorone, its the hollwodd thing these days.

As for my flu, well it might even be a very bad cold instead, mind you I had a bad temperature. I was very dissapointed to have missed training today seems like Im counting the days to the competion and each day in the gym seems more important everyday.
I took some antbiotics and feeling a bit better, will have to wait and see tomorow.

that makes sense........ silly me I thought gh......I feel stupid now

the rule ive always lived by

I agree....neck up ok to train lightly neck down all I want is covers and enough energy to get to the shiter:D

The worst thing you can do is train when you are sick...especially if you have a fever. Good way to prolong your sickness even more. Best thing to do is get plenty of fluids, meds, and stay rested in bed. The macho "I gotta train," attitude is just plain stupid. I have learned the hard way and ended up getting pneumonia. Let me tell that was real fun stuff for about 10 days.

Yeah your right about the macho shit, thanks guys Im gonna chill out for a few days:)
