Tech trouble with website

Clicking on "Remember Me" seems to have solved the problem, and I am not being logged out anymore every time I click on a new thread. It was never this way before yesterday, so I just wonder what changed with the website within the last few days.

Regardless, after clicking on "Remember Me", it seems to be working fine now.

I think the site has been hacked and they perhaps things screwed it up in the
process. (I have no proof.) Log-in problems started about the same time I got
an unsolicited private email from a dealer here who wants to sell me steroids,
etc.. My private email is not public but obviously resides somewhere deep in
this site. He said he got my email off Google (wrong answer). I don’t believe
in coincidences. Anyway . . . he has been ‘reported’ whatever good that will
do (think China). I don't appreciate getting this shit at home. You buyers out
there, please beware if you think all this stuff is really private. It's obviously
not, my opinion.

I've always clicked on Remember me on any forums I visit and I never had a problem here or anywhere else.

I used to be afraid it might leave traces of what I was doing on the net for someone to snoop, but Im just paranoid. Probably only a worry if youre on a computer in public? Like using one at a public institution like a library? Somewhere that might have other people on the same pc after you get off? Maybe they would be able to log into your account if you checked off that box?
