Nikola Tesla invented this technology 100 years ago. people thought he was crazy. this guy was a GENIUS beyond description. the entire modern age of electrical devices exists due to this man. he makes einstein look like a retarded chimpanzee.

there are always a few true geniuses, 100's of others build their work off them, and the true genius never gets credit. how many of you have even heard of Nikola Tesla?

by the way Tesla made an electric car in the year 1931 - WITHOUT batteries that ran on a similar principle to this self charging cell phone.

TV, radio, other mobile phone systems -- all of this stuff just bounces around the air and most of it is wasted, absorbed into the environment or scattered into the ether. for example they also could have said 'its similar to maxwell's ideas' - i bet 99% of people have no clue who that referrence would be - james clerk maxwell (who was one of the cornerstones of dynamic electric theory, who tesla acknowledges many times).

its funny, all the guys on this board know exactly who he is, and the general public probably considers us 'meatheads'. i meant the general public has no clue about him. i should have clarified what i meant, the bros on this board are much more intelligent than the average population.

BN, i see you have done some research on einstein. does you also think its odd that he came up with all these ideas AFTER he worked as a patent clerk. the amount of material coming into an office like that is enormous. who is to say he didnt plagerize someone else's work. after all, it took him years to develop the math to prove his equations. it seems to me that equations are developed from math, not the opposite way.

I have not done extensive research on Einstien. Three books, tops. I do believe his "genius" was his ability to ask simple questions and to search for true elegance in solutions. He had notable failures with his corrective "constants", and dismissal of a lot of quantum ideas. My favorite urban myth quote attributed to Einstien I believe is that upon his deathbed he was asked "What is the most powerful force in the universe?" and he replied "Compound Interest". Also the quote from either Joe Theisman or Pete Rose referring to someone and said "He is no Alfred Einstein".

One thing that I find remarkable about "geniuses" in general is almost all their truly remarkable works came in their early years. Their are certainly exceptions but the number is still telling. Its almost as if education and repitition, knowing "what can't be done", closes doors as it opens others.

Now, understand, I am not referring to people highly skilled at one activity, I'm talking mental creation be it science or art. I believe a pop culture book is currently commenting on the 10,000 hours phenomenon, about how many seemingly different tasks take has about this many hours in common to truly be the best.
