Beta blockers can lead to a sizable decrease in average heart rates. For example a study on the beta blocker atenolol found a reduction of 12 bpm.

The same study also found that this decrease in heart rates doesn't actually do much in terms of reduced mortality, which may be interpreted as the drug simply masking the symptoms of structural damage to the cardiovascular system. But in the case of androgens causing CNS stimulation and thereby increased heart rates, beta blockers may actually be beneficial for health.
I'm just speculating here though, would love to hear what more knowledgeable people like gotgame would recommend in your case.
