What day do you do deadlifts with?

Back, Legs, or a separate day for deads all together?
 
on back day i start out with deads, i only do them every 2 weeks. i do back alone and i'm toast
 
Back day and of course first. Every other week. Get the pulling!!!!
 
When I was serious about doing deadlights,
I would do them only one day a week, on
a Friday, after legs. And I would only do
one set, for as many reps as I could get.
I maxed out the Standard Olympic set
is was using, I think 300lbs, for over 20 reps.

I noticed a direct correlation (and I still do)
between deadlifts and squats. The better,
stronger I got in deadlifts, the stronger I
got on squats, and vice versa. There is a
real synergy there for me.

I agree. Since i have been hitting them hard, both of my squats and deadlifts have really went up. I used to hate deadlifts, but now i have to force myself to only do them every other week.
 
i usually do mine now with my shoulder routine, for reps tho, when i was competeing id do them on my dynamic speed squat day.

If I'm Bulking i'll only go really heavy every other week. Of course on back day. Ever since learning to deadlift it's MY FAVORITE exercise. I love it! GREAT WAY TO BUILD MASS AND STRENGTH!! USE STRICT FORM!!

maybe i'm strange but when i get strong on deadlifts i usually get weaker on squats and when i was strong on squats my deadlift would go down. maybe its just me

This is true. I remember being stuck at the 225lb deadlift for 3x10, and at the time I could only squat 185 for maybe 3 reps. I said "fuck this" and really busted my ass on the deadlift and once I was deadlifting 365 for 7, I was squatting (lo bar, I should note) 275 for 17. Then, I moved to China, stopped eating high protein, took a break from training, and now I'm playing catchup....fucking setbacks, man!

Wed: Flat Bench 5x5, Close Grip Bench 2x12, Conventional DL 5x5

Fri: Power Cleans 5x5, Back Squats 5x5, Bar Curls 2x8-10, Abs.

Past few months been doing this. I don't go to failure but pretty close. This is a tough one both cardiovascular and strength.

I have a torn right RC, so I group DL with chest, back, and shoulders, since those all stress it. This way, it gets more time to recover. I found that DL with legs stressed my RC, not allowing it to fully recover and my resulting tendonitis to subside.

sometimes i do them on a day by themselves, followed by abs. strong abs are quite necessary for a strong lower back. i try to space them apart from leg day, since my legs get some work while deadlifting. occasionally if i am feeling pretty good, i will do deads on back day. i do them as my second set, right after heavy barbell rows. if i were to do deads first, there is no way my lower back would be able to properly support myself during rows leading to shitty form.
 
i do them on hamstring/calves day.
