small children are fascinated with muscle.

society believes heavily muscled men want to or can "beat up" everyone.

man isn't that funny, when i go and visit my wife at work (she's a preschool teachers assistant, among other jobs) those kids always freak out at my muscles, and when i go to my little girls spring sports day (3rd grade) those kids go freakin crazy grabbing on me asking me to flex my arm... LOL thats crazy but yet they let theirselves grow up and get fat!

I'll 2nd the last one. You could have insane amounts of lean mass on ya, but if those abs are not showin, hit the road haha.

And its sad about obesity, but its even worse when you see a 9 year old kid pushing 200+ its like where are we gonna be in 20 years?

Take a trip outside the country for a real eye-opener on how obese the US has become! True, you see overweight people everywhere, but we seem to have taken it to a new embarrassing level.

Really sad, especially the fat chicks....

Funny thing, I work with a big fat guy, 5' 8" a little over 300. 49 percent bodyfat..NO KIDDING...he actually agreed to be tested at a fitness fair. Anyway, he was talking the other day about those fat people shows on TLC. If you haven't seen them, they are like mega fatties, 400 to 1000 pounds. Megamonsters. Anyway, he is making FUN of them. He was like "how can you let yourself go like that. They were sneeking in food to a hospital". I reminded him I was buying him candy bars because his wife refused. (I know I'm in the wrong, but it shuts him up a bit). Anyway, I think the big problem is they don't see them selfs as being that fat, there is alway someone fatter... There are so few thin people, it's the norm to be fat. God look at the people that list themselfs as "average" on match.com, be afraid, be very afraid.....

I was think the same thing at the casino resort I was at all weekend...seriously 75 % of the people I saw were tubs of shit...the other we're barely hanging on...about 20 people I saw that looked like they still cared about themselves and how they looked and felt...Down at the resort beach (river, ahah), there was a lady sitting in chair in the water just rubbing on suntan oil all over her pasty white huge belly, and she was in a 2 piece...Im dead serious when I say I almost actually felt a lil quezzy...Though I say some healthy looking people, I saw absolutely NO one that looked muscular...Im not saying like i just did a show muscular but like I follow a decent diet and workout hard muscular...fat kids running all over the place...I use to say i dont know how someone can go out in public like that, but now Iknow its because us muscular, fit or healthy people are outnumbered 100/1...They were looking at me like I was the one who needed to wear a shirt in the swimming pool...
