Why so many huge perfectly formed arms?

LOL

Back when I was younger, handsomer and bigger my right arm measure cold at 20" even. My left was around a 1/4 to 1/2 inch smaller. I havent measured in years as its somewhat depressing :banghead: LOL

my arms measure 17.5 and look 14..lol..5'7" at 240lbs
 
Well, I have put several inches on my arms, finally up around 18" mark when I am in full cycle bloat mode... They still look small to me!

Do you guys with the ripped up, large arms look at your arms in the mirror and think the same thing?

LOL....IDK, am finding that a 4 year layoff is hard to overcome. Funny... I would give an inch or 2 off my arms if I could slap it straight on the old quads. Will see what the new year brings. How are things BBoy?
 
All my measurements are very small for my height. People get too caught up in measurements, how much they weigh, bench, squat, ect.

It's all about looking big, it's about angles and illusions... Yes it helps to carry more muscle, but that's only part of it. I've murdered plenty of guys on stage that have been larger than me. It's about being BETTER.

You look great Bro. I would consider looking into getting the gyno taken care of though.
 
One of my friends has 21 inch arms at 5 foot 7 and he is lean as hell, always had a good peak genetically but they were small but many years of injecting everything into his arms (except SEO's ...just juice) they eventually are where they are now. Probably lots of muscle, scar tissues etc in there but they look great.
 
please don't take offense to this, but in that pic your arms don't look anywhere near 21inches, look at the arm that is down, the outside of your arm looks small and i have noticed this in your side chest shots, if your arms are 21 {not doubting you at all} they are waaaaaayyy bigger than mine but don't look it by anymeans, this is what im talking about when i say optical illusion, you can train to get this look, its how you train and what muscle you focus on, just like legs... if you want bigger, thicker looking legs work the shit out of your inner quads this will both give the illusion of thicker legs and also add to your hamstring drop in the side shots..

Y'all got more examples of stuff like this?

I've heard that working too much on your inner thighs can take away from the illusion of front quad sweep . . . . I've heard a million times that oversized traps can make a narrow guy look more narrow . . . any other examples you guys know of?

i'm focusing on strength training for the key lifts right now, trying to get as brutally strong as possible, but at some point will focus on bringing up certain parts.

Ive measured mine at 20 but dont really measure anymore because it all about illusion with the pipes

Thanks. That is in the works, unfortunately it will remain in past photos. Thanks for stating the obvious though - lol. I guess some people always have to find a flaw and point it out, as if I wasn't aware. Never understood that.

shelby is a midget also, but his arms are lacking! how tall you are has pretty much nothing to do with it, jay cutler is taller than me and his arms are 4x the size of mine??? and they are 2x the size of dave henry's {not quite but you get the picture..LOL} i actually have long bicep and quad muscle's for someone that is 5ft5, so my limbs are something that i had to work extra hard on, but i learned that its not about measurements its about giving the illusion of size. I work out with two guys and both their arms measure the bigger than mine and no one can believe it cause my arms looks so much bigger than theirs, they are now learning why, by how i train my arms and what specific muscle's i concentrate on. ;)

Some bodybuilders with clothes on dont look all that large, some look normal depending on the clothing, but when they take off their shirt they look absolutely massive. Other people look huge in clothing but without their shirt they are not very impressive.

In your opinion what bicep exercises are the best for increasing the illusion of size that you speak of?

first... thing is when trying to increase your arm size, concentrate on triceps first, they are the bigger muscle. when you can get your inner and outter tricep to grow, watch how much bigger and fuller your arms look. 2nd... biceps are a small muscle and don't need that many sets to fry them, most people overtrain their freakin biceps.
