ass cheek infection please help !

did a cc of some homebrew left over from last year. my ass started hurting in about 2 days.its now ben 5 days ,its red swollen and painfull as a mofo.stuck a syringe in it tonight pulled out a cc of blood and pus. ive got some amoxicillin and keflex.any help would be apreciated.

btw ,im trying to avoid a doc visit if possible.

Take 1000 mg amoxicilin every 6 hours and if isnt better in 24 hours run to the doc.

As BH said, take the anti biotics and do not stick it again. Do you have a fever or any other symptoms? You will need to run the anti-biotics for a few days, like five at least, but if you start to get fever and sick you will have no choice but to go to the doc. You'll have to tell him what you did and what it was you put in there! he is not there to pass judgement on you and he may give you a lecture but he is there to see you get well. Let us know.

thanks guys , i just took 1000mg of amox .ive been doing this for 20 years and this is my first ,so i guess ive been lucky.ive used about 40cc of this stuff with no prob until now.i think i forgot to wipe the top before i loaded though.any ways thanks for the advice.

i've noticed with the homebrews that the "shelf life" can be shorter, if you only did one cc and are hurtin' that bad then defenitely trash what's left over. it probably has nothing to do with cleaning the needle or the top of the bottle...i've had lots of pain from some of my homebrew shots, but they always went away, but some did last longer than others like your experiencing. mine was test enanthate, it often occured when i injected into a "new" area like the glutes, slept like crap, any weight on it hurts like hell.

I got an abcess about three weeks ago and it was some of the worst pain Ive had since my shoulder replacement. I went to the doctor because I was running a 102 fever and got the chills and shit. Its alot like having the flu but your injection hurts like shit.
The doctor put me on 500mg of Cephelexin 4x's/day. He said that it was going to get ALOT worse before it gets better. I had pinned my glute and the heat and redness traveled all the way around my hip within about an inch of my goods.
DO NOT WITHDRAW ANY FLUID AT ALL. If it is an abcess and you attempt to remove fluid then chances are you are also pushing some fluid to deeper layers of tissue which means you will have to go in and get it cleaned out.

i already drew some fluid out yesterday but im not going to any more. im taking 3000mg of amoxicillin ed and i bought some inj. penecillin from the vet and am doing 3cc of that ed .im drinking alot of water so my kidneys dont stress to much from all the antibiotics and hope and pray my ass is better in a few days.if not ill go see doc and let him lance it or whatever.ill keep yall posted. thanks-tap

yes ,im 41 and i started about 20 but up until the last 2 years i cycled 3 months on 9 months off.now i do 6 on and 6 off of no more than 500 -700mg a week.btw my infection seems to be better. tap
