I just saw this on true protein and was curious if it was like LBA's in a powder form and how it would compare to whey or casein protein ?
 
Looking at the AA profile, I think that's just about right, although the LBA's don't have the sodium that this has.

I think this will make good soups.
 
Im very curious on this as well. LBA's kill my wallet too much and I just dont have time to eat 6-7 servings of chicken per day so this would be perfect if its really like an lba type of thing.
 
Its probably hydrolyzed Collagen. It comes in two forms Porcine(Pork Skin) and Beef Skin. The True Protein product is likely the beef form. It is 90% or higher protein and hyr]drolyzed so digests welll. Not as complete as Whey but if you have read some of Phils posts you will see that there are benefits with it. It is cheaper than whey.. Instant Whey Isolate(90% or higher protein) sells for about $3.50/Lb and Hydrolyzed Collagen goes for about $3.25/LB.
 
This is a product that has never been made before....(ever)

We stumbled across something in looking for something else we were making....but we had to take what we stumbled upon and see if it would work for an application and send it through a spray drying, agglomeration and mixing process to make it into beef protein isolate.

It has the highest protein percentage of any protein we have ever come across.

Dont confuse this product with anything else thats out there including beef plasma, beef extract or collagen beef......its an entirely different entity.

I'll put it in simple terms but this is how it is made and I am going to be somewhat vague because we have had other ideas stolen and I dont need this one stolen....think of the leanest cut of beef there is that is cut off the bone, when that steak is processed there is still incredibly lean tissue left on that bone it is cut off.....throw that lean beef tissue away? No......it is sent thru a liquid process where virtually any and all fat rises to the top, is skimmed off, bone removed and then the beef at upwards of 96% and higher is spray dried into a protein powder......without the beef smell or taste.

So the question I want to ask the bodybuilding community is

If you had the choice of using milk (whey protein) to build muscle tissue or eat a steak (beef protein isolate)....what is your choice?

So im giving you whatever choice you want....

If I am correct, this process has been used for years by Menu Foods and a few others out there. Good on you for bringing it to the Nutrition Industry Dante.

I dont know Shotgun we had to jump thru hoops to get this done....and a couple of the companies we were working with were like "huh? what are you trying to do? protein powder?"

We failed miserably twice and almost gave up on it thinking it could not be done.....until we got it right the third time.

I just looked up menu foods and they look like they are manufacturing beef extract.....again totally different product. But again if any of you want to make a fruit flavored protein shake out of beef extract be my guest.....Yechhh

You can do it no problem with the isolate powder.

Shoot im gonna have to get some of this stuff. So, this new protien powder is %100 muscle building protein correct? There is no chance that future studies will show it acts more like a soy or veggie protien. I know that sounds crazy but you know what im trying to say lol

I would use this product over anything out there, LBA included.

Thats some funny shit cause that's exactly what this is & it tastes just as described .......... I have to hide it in pomegranate & orange juice along with another isopure flavor to choke it down....... :'ood-smil
Better have a badass blender too cause this shit is clumpy !:D
Looking forward to the aforementioned "Next Generation LBA" product.
How is it going to be offered & what are the damages ?
