Cheap hawthorn berry?

So im def gonna be loading up on this lately as it seems to really be one of the only supps that has an effect on lowering bloodpressure. cheapest i've seen it is at vitacost. 100caps for like $4 but you need to take a good 9caps per day to get around 5grams. Anyone know a good place that maybe has it in bulk powder? 1fast400 doesnt but im just wondering if your gonna take 5g daily whats the best route. Thanks

why do you think you need to take 5g daily? I thought you really only needed around 1g a day.

That sounds like a pretty cheap deal to me.

Even at 10 caps per day, that's 10 days supply for only $4.00

$0.40 a day is pretty cheap.

$12 would get you a 45 day supply at your dose. But then you have to add in the cost for caps and the capping machine, assuming you are going to cap it.

$19 gets you double the supply.

Seems to run ~$10-$13 a pound.

Thats cheap. I wouldnt cap it, usually with powders I just use an 1/8tsp or something. I wonder if they know the measurment. Like 1/4tsp= that would make it much easier.

I guess since its in grams I could just weigh out 5grams on a little scale and figure out how many tsp's it would be.

Echoing a similar question fourth- I thought 1gm was suffice for BP... why 5?

I usually used this brand and they say to take close to 5g in the directions. I know thats not a great indicater but I figured that would be a good dose
