Curling in the squat rack is okay as long as you're not preventing anyone from using that rack for an exercise that requires a rack. Every time I do a BB curl, it's in the squat rack.
Sometimes, when I'm squatting, I tear out a piece of paper, "no curling" and put it on the mirror![]()
About the only place you can curl in my gym is in the racks. Everyone is too busy doing chest 3 times a week, and the racks are always available..
He has asked me what he can do to improve his bench. I tell him he needs to hit deadlifts and squats but he is in total denial and will then ask about changing up his bench routine
