Well, I made it into the Kilo Klub.
It's taken me longer than some, but I'm still here.
I sit back and look at where I was in my life when I first joined this board and how much I've matured as a person over that time.
I've had a long road full of struggles and even though I never posted about them, being able to come here and be reminded by all of you about one thing I've always loved (BBing) has brought me comfort during that time. Seeing the passion of which some of you enjoy our sport has been a great reminder to me as to why I fell in love with it as well so long ago.
For quite awhile I was considering walking away and letting life's obstacles keep me from getting to where I wanted to be. Seeing what some of the others on this board endured helped me regain my focus and re-light the fire for me to reach toward my own goals.
After an extended "offseason" D ), I'm back in the gym with a fire like I haven't had before- the results are coming quickly and I feel better than I have in a very long time. In fact, I will probably compete next year.
Thanks to everyone that has shared knowledge, gave me great advice, argued with me (you too, OTH!), and helped me when I needed it.
And lastly, I'd like to thank all of Professional Muscle for being the ABSOLUTE FINEST place to come to learn about this sport and for giving a guy who had lost his way the strength to overcome.
