getting hit on by gay guys

after reading mike1107's thread about getting those pm's i got to thinking that some of you guys might have it pretty bad in real life too...do any of you get hit on by gay guys in real life as well? ive been blatantly hit on by probably 5-6 gay guys in my life...and only one time it was bad enough to really piss me off (he was my manager and rubbed up against me as i was leaning over a counter...needless to say i was just kind of dumbfounded at the time, then got seriously pissed off. and since the owner was an ex competitive bber, i told her and she checked out the video camera and almost fired him...and would of had i not stepped in). im sure some of you guys have had similar encounters!LOL

Gay guys hit on me all the time. I take it as compliment. None of them touch me, just usually introduce themselves, say something nice and compliment me.

I have had more than my fair share living in NY...used to happen when I would go out to clubs. Doesnt bother me, I take it as a compliment as well

Most gay guys I have come across have been respectful. They never touch, just look and say something. Then a simple "I am straight" comment and they leave you alone.

About 90% of the time they are harmless. I've been approached while out and about and I just shrug it off and yes it is a compliment. Nothing wrong with flattery no matter where it comes from. Does the ego a world of good. As soon as they realize your straight they excuse themselves and they're off.

one of the guys was this middle aged guy who always seemed to offer to spot me on bench, or ask for a spot when he would bench. i tried to give him the beneft of the doubt and just consider him a nice guy. but every so often he'd make a comment about me getting big, or ask to see my abs, or say he wears gloves when lifting because he didnt want callouses(SP?) ect...then one night i saw him out renting a movie w/ a guy that went to my high school who was openly gay...it kind wierded me out at the time.

I get hit on by gay dudes about twice as much as girls. You have to think of it like this. Women are not attracted to the male physique like gay men are. They love the male physique and being muscular is as masculine as it gets. My wife has many gay friends and she made a good point. She told me that gay men will know if a man is attractive much better than any female could. So definately take it as a complimant, b/c if gays dudes are always hitting on you, chances are your really handsome. Girls are thinking the same, they just dont hit on guys like gay dudes will.

thats exactly the way it was explained to me...sometimes it is pretty uncomfortable though. i kind of begin to understand where girls are coming from better when it happens.

Same here. I get hit on some by gay guys. It doesn't really bother me, and like you guys say I kind of take it as a compliment. Never had anyone try to grab me or anything. The guy that cuts my hair is gay and works with a group of gay hairdressers/hairstylists. Cool guys. Always respectful and funny as shit. Give the best haircuts IMO. I always joke and tell them that straight guys can't cut hair. lol.

I dont mind you being gay. it's your thing. we all have our fetishes and desires. I just want you to keep it to yourself. Im not gay and you gay guys know who is gay and isnt. If im not gay and you notice that. Keep your comments and passes to your self. I could care less if youre making out with another gay guy. do your thing im all for it. Just dont do it with me. Well, imo you have men who are gay just like men who are straight but then there are the deviants (which is a different story and even there it still comes down to subjective opinion). Anyway, I am straight but have come to find my biggest and most loyal supporters come from amidst the gay community. 99% of the time they are well dressed and groomed GQ type guys and never actually do anything to offend me. I take it as a compliment. And God forbid you miss your mark and have 1 bad showing, then you're a bum in the eyes of so many of the overly proclaimed hetero crowd, but your gay fans still lend words of support (usually seems the case in my experiences so far). Sure, it would be too great if females flocked to the shows and expressed the enthusiasm the gay crowd does, but that's just bodybuilding for ya.

Yes they do, + the stares in the gym. They are looking for a response and when I don't respond, they get the message. That's fine, I don't care. But there have been a couple that kind of "shadow" me in the gym though and that seriously pisses me off.

Where I am, gays have it real hard. They have to keep real low because its taboo out here and they could be really beaten up. Thats why if a gay is gonna look at me, the minute I turn and look back they turn their face away because they shit themselves. Im originaly from London and can tolarate gays but my blood is mediteranean, so they assume that Im homophobic like the rest out here. I dont give a shit what they do, just as long as they keep that shit to themselves and dont step on my shoes.

been hit on pleanty of times like you guys, most of the guys were respectfull a couple werent but you have to realize these are guys now you realize what its like to be a chick and be stalked. When ever I go to talk to a girl I remember how creepy guys are tone my self way down. Its a great lesson for guys to have the role reversed.

It has happened to me before. Most of the time the men are respectful. My fiance thinks it sfunny. A few times the remarks have been sketchy.
One time don't know if they guy was gay or just a perve gabbed my damn balls. Me and my finace were in an adult novalty store. I was looking at some items and all of suden BAM something just grabbed my balls real quick. I t was a shocker. I just got from the gym and was wearing wind pants to. I turn around and there is like this 60 year old man trying to walk fastly away. My fiance stopped as I was about to be his ass. Sh ehad time to come me down becaus eI was delierating if I should do anything to him. I felt wierd since he was kind of old. I really didn't know what to do. So I went and told the store manager to call the police and what happened. I was so upset I left before the ploice arived because i started to change my mind and wanted to kick his asss again and was getting inpatiant. Then Iwent home and took a shower. Don't know what happened the man was still there when I left. It was probaly caught on video also.The way I felt if this guy is doing this to adult males I could just imagine what he would do to a defenseless child. So i hope he was arrested.
