what does your diet look like?

I have been a big clean eater for long long time.. lately I have been eating more pita breads,bagels, homemade dishes like (sheppards pie), stuffed peppers, lasagne, pastas etc and have actually lost weight...

I dont like to eat until im overly stuffed because then I feel like shit any advice?
 
Eat your normally clean diet and just add in healthy fats to each meal, I would start there.
 
Meal 1
2 scoops whey
2 cups oats
4 pieces white bread
Meal 2
10 oz chix breast
3 cups rice
Meal 3 (post training)
2 scoops whey
2 pop tarts
60 grams of carbs from Gatorade powder
Meal 4
10 oz chix breast
3 cups rice
Meal 5
2 scoops whey
3 cups rice
Meal 6
10 oz red meat
1.5 cups rice
Meal 7
50 grams whey/casein mix

This is an example of my off season training day. My coach still has me cycling carbs (half on non training days)

I have no room for veggies as I will just throw up if I try to eat any more. I add veggies when I lower calories in contest prep.

I haven't done the breakdown Lol. I can do that later and post.

I'm maintaining weight right now. I need to add a carb load day.
 
That diet looks low in calories for someone 270! Wow I eat that and I'm only 215 :(

OP eat more clean foods, add calorie dense foods such as nuts, nut butters and oils. Centre the majority of your carbs around your workouts

Yeah, its hard to eat it all.. I look forward to rest days just so I can eat less.

Are you taking a shake with that meal? Maybe spread it out.
 
I hate chicken breast. I eat 8 ounces and It makes me gag. If I had to eat anymore Id punch a bitch.

post WO meal/shake with unlimited protein and unlimited carbs



Why eat bullshit? Nobody has ever justified eating bullshit unless they're refeeding or hitting pop tarts post workout.

Add 2TB EVOO, EVCO, Almond butter, etc to every meal. That'd be a better start than shepard's pie.

White potatoes, onion , xtra lean ground turkey ?

Lasagna (pasta, whole tomatoes , olive oil, zucchini, eggplant, ground chicken)

My cereal is Jordan cereal (oats toasted, coconut, raisins) I don't use milk I use protein powder vanilla

So it's not bullshit in my opinion just not measured

nice to see im not the only one addicted to pop tarts :) but you prefere whey over eating eggs in the morning? It it because with the oats and bread its hard to stomach more food or a different reason? Not questioning just trying to get more info for my bulk i am just starting to do. Trying to get to your level brotha..

All those healthy foods and meal times get old real fast...

Might be worth a try to do lower carbs and high fat. And I don't mean 100g of fat high, I mean like 300g fat high.

Fats are so calorie dense it easy to eat more. I can pm you a sample of my diet if you're interested. I'm currently eating this way.

i do agree with bboy and bigdavesmith I probably need to incorporate more fats into my diet but 300 LOL ive seen your diet it works for you thats amazing but ive tried it and I feel so fuckin lousy... all my meals have some carbs in them whether its starch veggies fruit , greek yogurt etc. its just unfortunate the amount of calories I need to consume
 
I have never done a real bulk diet, but just got of the palumbo diet and not going to say it was enjoyable but it worked.

My new diet for this off season so far until it gets tweaked is.

breakfast
4 free ranged eggs
oats w/fruit and scoop of vanilla whey
Slice of ezekiel bread

snack
banana
mixed nuts
pb and j (ezekiel bread w/sugar free jelly)

Lunch
8oz bbq chicken (sugar free bbq sauce)
Sweat potatoes
mixed veggies

Snack
protein
mixed nuts

preworkout
pb and j (ezekiel bread w/sugar free jelly)
karbolyn carb drink

midworkout
karbolyn, bcaa, creatine, 40g whey

postwork out
white rice and chicken

dinner
steak or salmon (most likey salmon i love salmon)
Mixed veggies
white rice

desert
mixed fruit

before bed
protein shake mixed with eggwhites and peanut butter

I choice white rice for now and if i feel that i am not doing well on it i will go to brown rice, but i will probably mix it up to give some thing different.

I am VERY new to bodybuilding so please pick this apart if its horrible.
