Are most of us overlooking the fact that these can really protect our heart, arteries, and blood vessels?

Some things that most of us overlook...and I am hoping I am not jumping to a big conclusion here - but it seems that these compounds actually PROMOTE cardiovascular protection and heart health.

Creatine Monohydrate
Citrulline Malate
Agmatine Sulfate
Beet root extract (beta vulgaris)

While all of us are using these for pumps, muscle building, and strength/stamina for the most part...are we over looking the HEALTH aspects that come along with them?

Discuss.

Let's not forget about our mixed carnitines and hawthorne, Omega 3's as well.
Should be a good thread developing here.

I dont understand why some health professionals say creatine isnt very good for the heart.

I've been incorporating 2 glasses of red wine a night as well there are a ton of cardiovascular benefits, thought I'd drop my 2 cents while we're on the subject of heart protection, don't want to high jack your thread or anything.

Red Wine Burns Fat And Lowers Blood Pressure, Plus 5 Other Health Benefits For Winos

I understand the health benefits of Red Wine but how does it help burn fat? With the carbs/sugars in there one should be having an opposite effect..i would assume.

Right I don't really know it the article it says that ellargic acids in winery graps help delay the growth of new fat cells and help against producing new ones. Also red wine contains reservatol which has numerous benifits. Also something not mentioned in the article is red wine is proven to raise testosterone with drinking1-2 glasses. I think moderation is key like I said I only limit myself to 2 glasses a night. Going back to fat loss I don't think just drinking red wine will burn fat but I think some things in it will help contribute in aiding fat loss.

Much of the health benefits of red wine have been shown to most likely be from melatonin.

that shit is always best to be avoided at all costs, regardless of health benefits or any other types of supposed benefits..

What the hell are you talking about?

And resveratrol.

the actualy amount of resveratrol in red wine is very little
plus orally the bioavailability is extremely poor anyway

youd have to drink like 20 gallons (or a similar ridiculous amount) of red wine a day to actually get some benefits out of the resveratrol

alcohol in general is supposed to "clean" your arteries from plaque though.
there are actually studies on alcoholics and they rarely ever get heart disease

of course you have to outweigh cost/benefit ratio here

2 glasses of red wine is good imo. and also delicious. a nice steak and a red wine for dinner, awesome.
if i had the choice between beer and wine id always go for the wine

that shit is always best to be avoided at all costs, regardless of health benefits or any other types of supposed benefits..

umm what?

In my honest opinion, heart supplements have very little to do weather youre going to have a heart attack or stroke. Yes, over years upon years omega 3s will have a positive effect as well as herbs such as Hawthorne berry, but 95% of it comes down to first and foremost genetics and if youre predisposed to such issues and secondly youre cardiovascular fitness level and diet. All the drugs and supplements cant help you if youre predisposed to heart disease and/or have a bad exercise/diet routine

B.S.
In the study focusing on Europeans, the genes of more than 135,000 people were analyzed. Researchers compared healthy people with those who had been diagnosed with coronary artery disease (CAD). They found, in addition to the 10 previously known gene regions for CAD, 13 new gene regions. The findings were unexpected.

“The majority reside in gene regions that were not previously suspected in the pathogenesis of CAD,” the researchers write.

Genetics play a major role in the development of heart disease. Identifying genes that put people at increased risk could aid in the development of both prevention strategies and new treatments. But first, more study is needed to determine how the genes contribute to CAD.

“Understanding their mechanisms will not only improve our understanding of the disease process but could also ultimately help to develop new treatments,” Nilesh Samani, cardiologist and co-lead of the project from the University of Leicester in the U.K., says in a news release.

Six of the 23 confirmed genes in the study could be linked to known risk factors for CAD such as cholesterol and high blood pressure.
WEBMD.com/heart.

Unless you have congenital heart problems, most all problems can be helped. Its called epigenetics. You just have to keep down the CAD promoters with the aforementioned products.
Family has low HDL, fix it with bergamot etc.
High homocysteine, B vitamins and methyl donators, and carnitines.
You cant remove the bad gene, but you can certainly circumvent its expression.

Its a money game . . . the drug industry doesn't want to fix diseases, they want you to buy their BS forever. Just like the lipitor scam. Finally they're getting screwed with all the lawsuits . . .
