i guess not training legs allows for extra recuperation for the upperbody cause i destroyed every PR for chest, delts and tri's i ever set, and on multiple sets. sheeesh and i did it at 12lbs less bodyweight, i'm down to a valuptious 241.:) :)

phil's training and diet minus the leg day cause i am all gimped up at the moment. i dont get sore anymore so i train about everyday. hitting everything upper body wise every 3rd day right now.

I think it can be beneficial,,,maybe because traininig legs can be so taxing.
 
My son is making great progress using Push/Pull/Legs/Push/Pull and the weekends off. Hitting the upper 2x a week and lower once. He is always progressing in weight or reps and hypertrophy has been very good upper and lower.

Your legs are already huge, so I dont think its going to hurt anything to take a little time off ala Branch Warren.

You wanted to focus on bringing up your arms to my level anyway, so here's your chance.:D

MRI is scheduled for monday morning. it actually feels fine as long as its not bent all the way. but there is something sticking out the side so i guess that aint real good, lol. i'm still doing calves. 1st time i ever did side laterals with 70's yesterday, did a solid 8 reps with good form, my wife wasnt impressed so i had to tell someone :D

Something is sticking out? Does it move around when you press on it or cause pain?

its like a big pocket of fluid sticking out the side. i think it needs drained:confused: no pain by pushing on anything.
