I recently ordered this protein.. My first time.. Is it supposed to have a very chalky consistency? When i scoop it into water it sits on top of the water in the shape of the scooper.. I would compare its density to that of waxy maize.. I was under the impression the protein would be light.. Almost like a whey isolate.. It mixes up alot thicker than even Whey Protein Concentrate or Whey Protein Isolate?? Is this how it is supposed to blend?
One thing I've noticed is that it seems the higher the quality of the protein, the more hydrophobic the actual powder is. I have a jug of ON's Hydro and you add a small amount of water and it dissolves quickly and certainly isn't chalky like waxy maize.

I got mine from TrueProtein so i don't doubt the quality.. Im thinking I got my order mixed up?? It would suck if I got waxy maize instead of whey hydro.. Then PWO I'd just be sucking down a bunch of carbs and no protein...

Just for shits and giggls why not go over to your local supp shop and buy a small container of the ON Hydro Whey and compare? Might lead to a more conclusive answer.
Recently I ordered acetylcarnitine and it had some foreign matter in it, kind of looked like small chunks of plastic. Their customer service is the best I've ever encountered and they offered an immediate replacement (thanks Carl, you're awesome) but the next jug had the same issues. I just decided that I'd have to sift it and basically do my own quality control on ALC.
