Has anyone looked into or have any info on this new program from Christian Thibaudeau ?

Talking about CNS stimulation & super heavy lifting with cluster reps..

I'm very interested.. Top End Pin Presses, Thick Bar Benchpress & Floor Press is example of a Chest workout with very low reps...

Anyone have some extra info?

Thats

all the info on it right now, the video from t muscle. it looked like a big supplement ad to get you to buy a 90 dollar supp. the program sounds interesting but not the supp.

No, but I have an idea that it is centered around heavy lifts to teach the body to maximally recruit muscle fibers then during the rest of the week use different exercises with different set and rep schemes to maximize muscle. This is just my overly simplified thoughts on what it will be and not all heavy lifts will be performed on one day I don't believe, but I could be wrong...

I think you it will be a great program, but I think you will REALLY need a sound nutrition plan if it is planned out the way I think it will be!

this is what they are hoping people don't think about the whole thing lol. the sad thing is that i don't know how many gyms would have stuff like the fat bar for people to press with. i know my school doesn't have one.

They will have a nutrition plan supposedly - it will be a whole write up like the v-diet update they did a few months past.

Your hunch is right. I've read his latest book and he was working on preping the cns and tapping into the high-threshold motor units. It will be a specialization program (like focus 4-8 weeks on a body part or movement) because not too long ago he said he has discovered it is the most effective way to put on mass.

Thibs knows his stuff and yes it is flooded with supplement ads - but I think the techniques he reveals will be very effective for ADVANCED users needing something new.

Most of the guys on the site that will be jumping on this program are going to be beginners who need to focus on working each muscle 2-3 times a week, compound movements, FOCUSING 100% on increasing numbers on those few key compound lifts - not all this advanced stuff he is going to throw out.

I do believe you are right about needing to be an advanced lifter...

I have trained in a fashion like this and it will lead to a good amount of mass. I didn't have the best nutrition plan but I gained around 15 pounds in 10 weeks my strength went up like crazy too, but also went down a bit when I stopped... I really just concentrated on getting calories in. If I had a proper diet, who knows how much better it would have been, but my muscles were so exhausted I would eat A TON to be able to keep up. I eventually had to cut workouts and it wasn't as effective but still good. I'm not by any means taking credit for his work, but after reading a lot of russian and bulgarian weightlifting literature then just experimenting, and applying what I could to bodybuilding, it led me to that type of training.

The ad is def. hype for the "new" supplement ANACONDA, which is "PEPTO PRO". I myself am advanced so maybe this will be a helpful tool for me with weight workout. As far as fat grip bars they sell the Fat gripz now that go right over the bar or dumbbell to make it a fat grip. It is only like 40.00. Search Fat gripz. Thibadeau knows his shit he puts out good info on workouts.

Hmmm

The idea of priming the CNS is very intriguing..

Anyone have results of such an endeavor?

As well as, how you ACTUALLY went about it?

I have. I didn't really call it priming the CNS though... Just see the above statement.

Ever hear of DC training? This concept isn't new, neither are "cluster" reps w/ a heavy load.

CT use to actually put out some good info but hes gotten crazier over the years and more of a supplement whore.

of course I have.....

As a packaged program it is new from C.THib..

No-one has actually laid out what they did in the gym to "prime" the CNS.

Beuller??
