I have been doing it now for about 4 weeks. Im getting stronger and gained an appreciable amount of muscle in a short time. However it seems like I am always sore as hell. Every time I train chest etc... the damn muscle is still sore when I train it agian. I work night shifts. Is it due to poor REM sleep and not recovering???? Im on 1g test , 600mg deca and d-bol 35mg a day. I have never had this happen before???? Anybody with any ideas????? THanks.
 
one thing I've noticed is that alot of people say "I use DC's training methods," but what it really turns out being is their interpretation of DC training. I use DC's methods, under DC's tutelage. I never had a problem with extended soreness. Are you doing all the stretches, getting proper nutrition? There are so many variables that can lead to this, its really difficult to pinpoint.
 
yea bro sooo many people use this program wrong. If you type out what you are doing we can most likely help you and let you know if you are doing everything correctly. It could be so many things.

How often are you training?? Are you training on MTTF or MWF?
 
im doin DC style, but have almost enuff to enlist dante or one of his recomended bros to help soon
but i find im sore the day after the workout for abt half the day, the amount of calories is key in this area i feel.

Sounds like you are not recovering. I just started working with DC this week and yes I am hurting the next day but fine after that and ready to roll. I am doing MWF workouts and eating a TON of food.
 
YOU MUST REMEMBER THAT SORENESS IS NOT A INDICATOR OF A MUSCLE'S READINESS TO BE TRAINED.. IT IS A CHEMICAL PROCESS IN MOST INSTANCES.. as long as you do not feel "weak" in the muscle itself.. train it.. i train chest when it is sore all the time and it has not affected my workouts.. that being said, my chest will stay sore for 6-7 days sometimes.. so i finally bit the bullet and started training it twice a week and it is fine..
 
zeph, Its very possible you have been handed slow recovery abilities, give us some of your routine and diet so we can see whats up here...
 
Well I have to admit...

My diet is probably not high enough in calories and or protein. I guess I expected to make good gains because I did on all my other routines. The thing is I was hitting everything once every seven days. I do the M_W_F routine. Ive never had this prob before"???? Im a small fry so I try to eat as much as I can but it seems like its never enough. Im 5'6'' and weigh about 200 even. Im at about 12% BF right now. My appetite is ok but I know I have to eat more but sometimes I chew a damn piece of chicken for like 10min because im so sick of eating. THanks.

Well I think you just answered your own question here with your post, you must eat and eat big here, you must get the protein down so it will aid you in your recouperation and of course growth.

When I come across someone who is not gaining and that main factor is usually food intake, not enough protein...
