Knew next to nothing about the thyroid until stumbling upon some research pertaining to a symptom I have. I thought I must have had the shittiest genetics in the world to have all of these seemingly unrelated ailments, but now I wonder if there's a common thread
1) spent most of my adolescence anorexic, although I don't have any issue gaining weight nowdays
2) developed a moderate hand tremor around age 16
3) have had social anxiety as far back as I can remember
4) right eyelid started to sag 3-4 years ago (looks like ptosis, but I'm only 23). Seems to have gotten slightly worse in last 2 years or so
5) face eternally looks like shit. I don't know if it's correlated but this seems to correlate with my gear usage. Had a fairly attractive face prior to hopping on gear 2 years ago (I'm 23). Ever since then I've looked like a bloated mess. Only been using 150mg test and am quite lean but my face retains an unnatural looking puffiness that never goes away. This is sometimes indicative of thyroid problems
6) hair loss. Could be gear related of course, but I've never gone above 300mg test and never used orals. Even now that I've been cruising for 6 months I'm still shedding like mad
7) brain fog, memory loss, ADHD symptoms
8) my sister had her thyroid removed, and there is some heritability
getting my blood taken very soon and will probably speak to an endo depending on results, but just wanted to hear input if anyone had some. Very knowledgeable people on this board and I'm sure someone has dealt with it
