nolva on cycle

I'm about to start a prop only cycle. Had a flare up of gyno on my last cycle so am deciding what ai to use. I have some arimidex but I'm opting to use nolva 10mg ed instead. I used letro at the end of my last cycle and it shut me down hard. I understand arimidex is a similar compound to the letro but not as strong so thats why i'd rather use the nolva.

I have heard of novla on cycle for water retension and any other estrogen related sides.

Is Adex as suppresive as Letrozole? I know they stop the production of estrogen and letro is stronger lowers estrogen levels by up to 80%.

You wil not crash on letro unless you use to much for two long. Arimidex is nowhere near letro as far as suppression goes. I have always used adex and just recently used aromasin wich in my opinion is a better choice. It is my understanding that using nolva on cycle will hinder your gains.

Right, estrogen suppression with AI generally has a negative effect on blood lipids. In contrast, nolva is a selective estrogen in the liver, which is good for cholesterol (lowering LDL and increasing HDL).

To quote William Llewellyn in Anabolics 9th Edition:

Since steroid-using bodybuilders are already dealing with the negative cardiovascular effects of these drugs, compounding the issue with aromatase inhibitors (which will lower total serum estrogen levels) may not always be the best option. Using a drug that blocks gynecomastia, [nolva] for example, while at the same time supporting improved cholesterol values, might be much more ideal.

I've never done Nolvadex throughout a cycle, but I always keep it on hand in case I have a minor gyno flareup mid cycle. I respond well...usually 10 days at 20mg will clear any puffiness or soreness up.

I think it will inhibit your gains to a certain extent, if memory serves nolva lowers systemic IGF-I. AIs absolutely inhibit gains, androgens that readily aromatize are the best for building mass.

Too much adex will stop all estrogen which is bad, i do 600mg prop a week and find .5 adex every 2 days is fine, then keep nolva for pct.
