Someone wasn't getting there pay-off and brought the house down on them. Now is the time that the reorganization starts to find a new route in. As long as people want them there will be people to supply them. Hasn't stopped in the last 200 yrs and won't stop now.

While the LE is right that no board room of any corp. would write off half a million and keep operating he is looking at it from the wrong direction. No organization that can afford to put that size shipment together is going to close up shop. Also, any organization that can put that kind of shipment together had at least some LE on the payroll or they wouldn't get that big. Between the pay-offs and nature of organized crime(from Italy no less) I think the people talking in the interview should be concerned for the safety of themselves and their family.

Apparently LE hasn't been watching the news recently because financial institutions have written off billions this year alone and they are still operating. Also their estimate of the value of the drugs are always at the highest street prices and are not realistic. This bust will certainly but a damper on the drug trade but it solves nothing. As you said above, as long as there is a demand there will be a supply. Supply side tactics will always fail.

as bad as that seems at least the people who buy that shit WANT to buy that shit.

here in shithole america we have corrupt CEO's that steal more than that amount of money from pension funds and screw over 1000's of old retired people. then they can pay off some people and get some BS probation

Also, not to sound like I'm picking on you, but I'm really getting tired of people saying shithole America and how bad it is here...honestly, if you don't like it that much go somewhere else. There's lots of open minded countries in the middle east with no problems and you won't pay much for gas. I hear all the African countries economies are booming and China is a lot of fun
