There is a guy in the area I train at that I have prob not seen in at least a year or two. Last time I saw him he was a pretty lean 235 almost all upper body. Anyways he was a heavy cycler what some would call a shotgunner and would take everything he had all at once (ya know what I mean) Hell I dont even know if he ever came off only due to financial difficulties. Anyway not judging him at all what ever makes you happy I say go for it. I just found out from a freind of mine who had seen him a week ago and he is down to about 120lbs. I said "holy crap" what happened. Come to find out he had testicular cancer and it spread to his liver and pancreas and he is undergoing chemo and radition thus the severe weight loss. Now this kind of stuff scares me. I do regular testicular checks on myself but hell he obviously did not know he had it. At least thats my take on it. He also still lies to the docs taking care of him that he never did any Anabolics. His dad I guess had severe colon cancer also. I know cancer is highest probability with genetics in your family but maybe the increase in hormone levels boosted the cancerous growth. Just makes me sad for him. Also scares me a bit. Just thought I would share this to see what people think.
