Role Models:
1-John Paul, Oldest brother
John was my oldest brother. He died in 2005, my senior year of high school. He inspired me from every angle possible. At the age of 19, he was a licensed
pilot, certified for skydiving, received 100% paid scholarship to OSU for Air
Traffic Controlling, top scholar of his class. John taught me that life is
filled with unbelievable dreams. If you can see it, go for it.
2-Jesse, grandfather; Papa
He also died on the same day as my brother. Growing up as a child, I really had no father. My Papa was my "father". He was the man who taught me to fish, hunt build bird house and live life as a normal "boy". He always had a saying of "Why Not." This is what I live by now in life, Why Not.
3-Kristen, Girlfriend of 7 years
Don’t know where to start with her. As some people may know, I have had some hard times in the past few years. When no one believed in me and supported me, she did. She has been there by my side from the very beginning. She has taught me that love is a wonderful thing, even though it takes work, it is well worth the effort.
4-Jacob, Younger brother
Now, this is a completely different role model. He one year younger than me
right now and is 21 years old. He is the hardest worker I know and is very
brilliant when it comes to the everyday guy. He rides on the back off a garbage truck and throw the 20#-100# cans all day long. I have the most respect for him for doing this.
5-Donna, Mother
She has taught me that no matter how wrong someone maybe, if you love them enough, it doesn’t matter if you think they are wrong or not. Believing in them is what makes it okay.
6-Jeremy, cousin
My cousin is a very accomplished project manager and he has influenced me to keeping going and finishing school. When I thought school was getting tough and could finish, he was the one who would stand behind me to give me that push I needed. Now I am headed in the right direction to providing a solid foundation
for a future.
