Started new training routine H.I.T sytle

Man listen. I changed up my routine after goign to H.I.T's web site and reading Big A's routine. So I put together one of my own I started it yesterday along with my cycle. Man I did legs and I am so so sore. I am so sore you know like when you have the flu and you whole body aches that's how I feel now, abs, lower back, ass, legs all killing me.

For legs, and torso I do 4 excerices, 2 sets each. The first set is anywhere from 6-10 reps, real heavy using assited reps, forced reps, rest pause, dropping the weight. I have to get at least 6 if I get more than 10 I just keep going to failure and make sure I going heavier next time. My 2nd set is "high reps" 20-30 reps. Using the same tech. I use this to try to hit different muscle fibers from my power/heavy set.
For shoulders, and arms I do 3 different excerices. Using the same format as above.
Yesterday I did lunges, leg press, leg curls, and calf raises and I am so sore.
If this keeps up I know I will gain more on this cycle than ever before. I just don't think I can do it for more than a month, then I will switch to something "more conventional" for about 2 weeks then go back to H.I.T.
This is just to post I am really feeling H.I.T right now.

I started using h.i.t aswell. Here is the way I adjusted it to my liking.


3x warmups 1 set maximum weight for 3-5 reps. Have someone assist me with the next 4.

Next exercise is one main heavy set. I use a very heavy weight for 6 reps and then I wil negative the weight down and add 2-3 drop sets. But the thing is when I do the drop-set I like to pick up a weight that will at most let me to 5-7 reps.

Next execrise is the same formula as the last.

Last exercise is one heavy to failure and very slowly negative the weight up..


This is what I did for chest yesterday and it killed me.

Whole routine takes less then 35min but its murder.

Yeah drop sets work awsome. I just got back in from shoulders and it took maybe 30 minutes probably more like 20. Drop sets to me are second out to forced reps to make a set super hard.

It was under one of tyhe H.I.T threads. He goes into explaining how he trains. If you type in the serach field H.I.T I think you should find it.
