My elbows start hurting like 1 month a go but i tough "well it happends to me very frequent so ..." now some times i cant open a door.
One week a go the bicep tendon that inserts in the forearm is hurting and today i cant flex my left arm....

I do know what are you thinking...I am getting old..I know it is true but i need to fix my old body to keep the hard training.

I am always getting good advices from you guys and know i need a little help, maybe you know some thing to help me, while i find a doctor.
Thanks in advance.

GETTING OLD?? NO WAY.. has the training changed much over the last couple of months..? i have had the bicep tendon pain.. not fun.. went way fairly quick.. i iced it before and after training sessions and worked around it.. if it hurt.. i did nt do it..

Extra Vit. C and bromelain......also what maybe aflutop?

But like lats said, the main thing right now is avoiding painful exercises and I would suggest a couple light sets of high reps to "warm up" the area.

I had that problem awhile back and went to a chiropractor to get ART or soft tissue work done on that area to beak up some scar tissue I had from training. They said removing the scar tissue would get blood flowing in the areas were the scar tissue was and help it heal....just my .02 cents

USP Labs Super Cissus, i'm a rep for the company and it's an amazing joint supplement that actually lowers cortisol as well as helps heal muscle and tendon damage. You can get it at USPLabsdirect.com. Google Cissus if you'd like to learn more about the extract it's excellent stuff.

I know the feeling BigHeinz. I was almost crippled due to joint and tendon problems. Here's what fixed me up. I tried SOOOO much crap that didn't work, but here's what finally healed me.

Alflutop-1, 21 day cycle. To begin to counteract oxidation on cartiladge.

Deca- 600 mg/week, for 20 weeks. To help healing process on connective tissues.

Test 200 mg/week for 20 weeks. To keep the sex drive up, much more than this can be damaging to tendons and that's not what you want when you're trying to heal them.

1000 iu's Vit E and 1000 mg vit C/day. To provide anti-oxidants to heal damaged tissues.

Keep reps in 15-20 range.

Add in more flexibility and plyometric training.

I know this isn't an ideal bodybuilding program, but if it prolongs the health of your joints and tendons, then in the long run, it IS good for bodybuilding too. After you're all healed up, you can go back to regular training.

I have a theory on this.I have been suffering elbow and thigh tendonitis at the hip .I have been able to mainatain and work around it the last year.As i reviewed my training I noticed over the years I had gone from full squats to stopping at parrallel ;at parrallel alot of tension goes into the tendon just stopping and changing direction. So I started doing full squats and really deep leg presses which allows the glutes and hammies to take over the braking and direction change. The tendonitis is not hurting at all and has nearly healed after only two workouts over two weeks. So this week I noticed i was doing the same on tricep exercises so I did pushdowns bringing the weight up to my forhead and lying extension lowering till my hands touched the bench and while it caused a bit of tendernise doing the excercise the next day which is todayI have no elbow tenderness or pain.

I DON'T THINK IT'S AGE, HEINZ.

I THINK IT'S WEAR AND TEAR.....I WENT TO HIGH REPS FOR A MONTH AND EVERYTHING STOPPED HURTING....NOW I AM GOING BACK TO LOWER REPS 5-8 AND I JUST GOT DONE STRETCHING BEFORE I LOGGED ON.

THE ART GUY REALLY HELPED ME IN THE PAST AS WELL.

Get some deep tissue work. You should be getting that done at least once a week anyway.

you could do the super connective tissue stack of primo/deca/eq/var with gh. All of these compounds help with ligament/cartilage. just a thought

What is the opnion of your new trainer about this?

I understand that he changed your training routine but is it the "right" training for you pesonally?
If you keep doing the exercises and/or rep ranges that are most hurting your tendon(s),your doing more harm than good.

Other than that a good fish oil supp, celadrin, glucosamine products, collagen products, msm, vitamines & minerals,anti-oxidants and drinking plenty of water should help.

i have bad tendon pain in my shoulder tendonistis i used the cissus powder for like 2 weeks it got alot better in know it was that cause i stoped for like a week and now it hurts again

Nothing beats the combo of topical DMSO with ground up asprin and shots of NPP eod. Tendon pain disappears fast with this combo.

Ice after training too.

Thanks a lot to all of you bros.

My trainer recomended some of the things you are recomending too, but you know is not bad to ask to our friends and have some good other ideas.

I am using b12,Ice, deca, etc. in the tricep and it help a little but after train the pain start again, i will try to rest a little and do some of the advices you gave me.

thanks guys

Hey Bigheinz,
I think he means: DMSO / Dimethyl sulfoxide, this is a super solvent that can be found in many health food stores. It can be used to desolve compounds (asprin fina pellets etc.)and then applied topically to transport the compound to a specific area i.e. joints, muscles etc.
NPP would be nandrolone phenyl propionate, the faster acting form of deca.
Hope this helps

NPP is fast acting deca.

My guess is that you are training too heavy. Stop straining your tendons and train you muscles!!!! Forget about ego, you are very close to tearing a tendon.

Dimethyl sulfoxide is not just a solvent and a transdermal carrier, it is an fantastic anti-inflamatory also. It reduces inflamation by changing the osmotic gradient of the cell, acting like a intra-cellular diuretic. At the same time it increases blood flow to the area it was applied to, which helps speed healing.

It has a few drawbacks. It will make you smell kind of like garlic and can cause skin irritation in some people. I use a cortisol cream for the skin irritation but have yet to find anything to take away the smell. But if I have to choose between smelling bad or not training....well I don't even have to think about that choice, I'd rather stink.
