Things you could do without...

Christmas is just around the corner. It should be an enjoyable holiday, but there are just somethings about it that drive me nuts. I'm not trying to be negative, but the one thing I could do without at Christmas time is listening too all the commercial carols on TV and radio... geees, enough already! I hate it when they turn great Christmas carols and songs into commercials.

The best part about Christmas for me... being with my family!

What is something that you could do without at Christmas?

The best gift would be if all of the idiots at the gym who aren't there to train actually either:

1) Train!
2) Stop talking
3) Stop slamming their 10 pound cable curls
4) Stop trying to pick up girls
5) Stop trying to pick up guys (goes for both sexes)
6) Take a shower before training so that I don't have to smell them when they walk by me
7) Shut their cell phones off for an hour (who in the hell is so important that this call can't wait 45 minutes? And how can you answer the phone if you're really lifting weights?)
8) Return their weights

etc.

If I had that this Christmas, that'd be great.

I think the Christmas-related commercials are the worst.

I dont watch much TV, but when I do I am sick of seing a Christmas commercial about laundry detergent. Some things just have nothing to do with christmas. I dont need "Clorox" for the holidays haha.

By far the worst that gets me is when people (usually already fat) bitch about how much weight they gain during the holidays as they run to the snack company buffet to be first in line.

I can do without holiday shopping. I try to get all my shopping done before T-day. Then when you go out for you regular... I need toilet paper and toothpaste shopping, you still have to deal with all the traffic and shoppers in a daze.

One year I suggested adopting a needy family instead of giving gifts, one person in my family was against it, so we didn't do it. Don't mean to be ungrateful, but I would rather give a good gift to someone who needs it than receive something worthless like a pair of leg warmers I'll never wear.
