I use Nike Crosstrainer 5.0 for all my training needs. I find my contractions are better and get a better pump with these.
I all seriousness, while I do use them for training, I've used everything under the sun over the years. From wrestling shoes to Chuck Taylors...use what's comfortable. I started using the Crosstrainer because they give good arch support for squats.
As I mentioned in the thread they were not my style at all so it was strange me ordering them. I wanted to try some old schhol gym shoes. They are like the Otomix ones I have seen but I guess more modern looking. Some of them are a bitz over the top and those back ones are more basic. I
I have used them a few times and so far and they are great. Leg training feels so much better. I can't really comment on the durablity but so far they are fine. I train calves pretty much everyday in the gym so I usually know within a few weeks if a shoe is going to last.
