I was not sure where to post this topic, but anywhere I guess is good. We bought our daughter a camera for her birthday back in March. It was one of the Polaroid i639M-Breast Cancer Awareness Digital Camera, the pink ones, where part of the purchase price goes to breast cancer. Well the other day it stopped working the zoom would not move (go in or out), so my wife called the closest Walmart which is 26 miles away, (yeah I live in the sticks), they tell her to bring the camera in and they would do an even exchange. She drives there and when she get there the guy at the return desk is being an ass, telling her she needs to have a receipt. She explained to him that she could not find it and had the box and everyother item that came with the camera ,Skin,TV cable, Wrist strap and ArcSoft® software on CD-ROM , book, etc. The guy ask her where is the USB Cable. My wife tells him that she probably forgot it at the house. He tells her with out that cable he can not do the exchange. At this time my wife tells me she is getting upset at this guy and tells him then take the USB Cable out of the new one. He says that can't be done. SO my wife ask to speak with the manager. The guy calls the manager on the phone and talks to him and then he tells my wife that the manager said he can not do the exchange without the cord. My wife tells the return guy that she would like to speak to the manager in person. The guys calls the manager again and tells the manager this and the manager refusses to come out and speak to my wife. So the exchange never got done and the manager has still not called as my wife left her number with the store to have the manager call her to speak with her about this. Cowerdly is what comes to mind, how can you be a manager at a store and refuse to come out of you office and speak to a customer. Billion Dollar company and they are making a big deal over a $200 camera.
