Whats this shit about half a cup of oats?

Oats are junk,yams are way better.

Potatoes are better
 
i am betting that the people who get bloating with oats will be the gluten .
you can buy gluten free oats which are proccessed differently

could the gluten be what is inflammatory as well ?

Maybe more of a preference I guess. I average 190-200most of the year, my breakfast is typically the same except a few small changes recently. 50g whey with oj, 30 min later, 1cup dry oats, 1/2 cup walnuts, 1/2 cup raisins 3-4whole eggs and 3-4 egg whites and sometime wheat toast. The oats by itself, I would pissed, and my stomach would be cursing me.
 
I throw 1 cup in my postworkout drink along with Isloate and Gatorade.
 
Oats bloat me to hell and give me gas and the shits. Pass. I did lose a ton of fat on 150gm carbs taken in on 1st and 2nd meals.
 
I know what some people are paid to say........but you cant argue with science.....here is a great site.........type in oats.........plain old oats.....has a score of -410 STRONGLY INFLAMMATORY

I typed in oats, clicked on quaker, quick oats, dry (which is what I eat) and it said -100 moderately inflammatory. Now I dont know where you got -410 but I bet one of those things is -410 so I'm not doubting that, but -100 and -410 seems like a pretty good difference to me between what I eat and whatever you looked up. Just my 2cents
