What's your ideal protein mix?

Since I have been reading on proteinfactory's site I have it narrowed down to this.

75% CFM Whey
25% Casinate

To me all the other stuff is just gimmicks. What do you guys think? I just think you get the most bang for your buck with CFM being that it has the highest grams per serving. I don't flavor my protein I take it plain and it tastes good when it's good quality protein that way. I toss a couple strawberries or blueberries in there, some yogart if it's post workout for some carbs usually a bananna few ice cubes and mix it with the hand mixer. It's so freaking expensive though.

Is there anywhere you can get CFM cheaper by the lb? I tend to shy away from pre prepared powders because they are always full of carbs and never list the ratio's of the various proteins they say they contain. I think they dump a bunch of whey concentrate in there while your not looking. They generally taste good though (designer protein) I am always shocked to see so many protein manufactures who are targeting bodybuilders add soy protein to their mix. I mean SOY common guys, I don't want your estrogen protein.
 
Anyone want to get down on a group buy from somewhere. Get like 200lbs and cut it up. What if we could get the price down to like $4 a lb. It would be worth it.
 
Good idea.But I'm in Canada.Plus the potential of rip off.But I'm sure you could find some trust worthy fellows on here.

As far as I'm concerned, I agree.. I'm not near any type of personal "plateau", so just making sure I'm taking in adequate protein is enough for me to build muscle.. I guess I can see maybe if someone HAS reached a peak, and new muscle synthesis is tough to come by, that an optimum type of protein would be best, but I'm not really sure if there's solid proof that 1 of the more expensive proteins are clearly better.. The amino acid profile of each protein would make a difference I guess, but I really don't kno too much about that.. But again for me personally, I'm not gonna all of a sudden see these superior results by spending double/triple what a basic whey protein costs.

true, but certain lower quality protiens can cause stomach probs and other side effects.
