Why can pro's take deca and do contests?

I read on boards that some guys take deca, but they do contests. How can they past there drugtest?? Deca can be see in in somebody's blood for 12 mounths? How is this possible?

there are many ways to beat drug tests, thats why the only athletes who get busted in the olympics are either 1 idiots, or 2 they cant afford the right counter measures

You must be joking... Marküs Ruhl and Jay Cutler had lasix in their urine. So if they test for lasix, they don't test for steriods. It's hard to believe

They don't test for gear

Diaredics(sp) and not all of them and few other goodies, but not gear.

They started tested for diuretics after a few BBers died from using it then getting on the plane afterwards and dying. ALL bbers pretty much use them but, there are ways of getting away w/ the tests.

There's no testing for steroids. The only things that we get tested for are diuretics, clenbuterol and recreational drugs. AND the only shows that that happens at are the Arnold, NOC and Olympia. None of the other shows test.

it took me a long time to realize that there was no testing. this would be suicide on the part of joe weider and his empire...or would it?? bill philips does ok with his guys that are not natural, but definetely not as big as the flex, muscle and fitness guys...

That's correct!
Lets not forget that Outside the USA, the IFBB holds mostly amateur shows, that also do drug testing (IOC test). So they do test for certain metabolites of AAS, Diuretics (such as Lasix and Diazide) and Clembuterol.
