Hi I have a training question for you. My problem right now is that I work four 10 hr days. I leave the house 6:30am and do not get back home until 6:00 pm. This leaves very little time for family and the gym. I want your opinion on this, workout Thurs,Fri,Sat, and Sun. Taking Mon,Tues,and Wed off. Would this type of split work? This way I can put more Time into the family and working out. Will 3 days in a row be to much time off? This is what I am thinking about:
Thur: Chest, Tri's
Fri: Back, Bi's
Sat: Shoulders, Traps
Sun: Legs
 
Bro, I dont think that your split would hurt at all. Obviously not the best split IMO but if that's what you've got then go with it. It's generally what works best for you and, who knows, that could be great. You should have plenty of recovery time with those off days so, as long as your diet is in check you should be good. Best of luck!

This could work but I would rotate the order of your workouts so that you wouldn't always be hitting the same bodyparts after the 3 day rest period. This way you would not be favoring the same bodyparts on what would probably be your strongest most intense workout day.
 
What are your goals? I mean if you are looking to compete then it may not be the best split but if you are just looking to better yourself, build some good quality muscle and such then you'll be fine. Bottom line is you have to do what you can with the time you got. I work 6 days a week split shifts. I go in at 7ish, get done by noon and go back from 2pm till 8:30. On tuesday I'm done at noon and don't go back in (OT day yay!). So I workout sat (done at noon short day), sun, tues and then go after work at 9 on thursday night. You do what you can bro.
 
buffd is right.. the best split is the one that aloows you time to train consistant..
