Meal 1, 9:30 AM - 1 Cup Raw Oats, 1 Banana, 1/2 Cup Blueberries, 3 TBSP Hemp seeds, 1 TBSP Cacao Powder, 1 Tsp Ceylon Cinnamon, 2 TBSP PB2

Like I had stated before, it has next to no micro nutrients. If you're eating "clean," the whole purpose is to maximize your uptake of vitamins, minerals, etc..

its all relevant....and depends on blood work...heredity...metabolism.
WAY TOO MANY factors to even dicuss.

i think the biggest problem with food nowdays is preservatives,
and coloring...other than this, as long as your macros are within
YOUR PERSONAL range (whatever it may be, maybe some of you
can actually function from eating 12 tilapia filets 4 pieces of lettuce
and 14 almonds a day, but it doesn't mean its particularly good for you)

natural foods that fit within your marcos IS NOT EATING LIKE SHIT.
i don't care if its pizza (make your own, with glutin free dough)
cheeseburgers (i use rye buns, grass fed beef or bison and feta)
fajitas (grass fed flank) and absolutely NOT is ordering and large pie
one or twice a week going to kill you. even if you did this for 85 years.

and tilapia IS a SHIT fish.....WHEN NOT FARM RAISED.

its a bottom feeder fish that thrive in the seas surrounding China.
basically EATING SHIT.

farm raised are a different animal. it is one of the cheapest
fish protein that you can buy. this is why its so desirable.
commonly called aquatic chicken....lol

when made with flavor they are quite delish.

4oz yields 2g fat and 24g protein..... how does that differ from a chicken breast???..... which btw they pump a bunch of shit into......splain please
 
I ate like shit when I was off trt. 2-3 meals a day but whatever I wanted and ate till full. Carbs sweets etc. >>> hdl 64

Ate clean as hell but used trt even at 70mg/week hdl 45 even with cardio like crazy and minimal carbs.

That would be your macro nutrients, not micro nutrients. Huge difference between the two. Fish is typically a great source of omega 3's, tilapia is not. It has a higher inflammatory potential then 80/20 ground beef. I rarely eat chicken anyways.

honestly I think it is because many of us who have been getting bloodwork so long when natural verse not saw some startling things. I had cholesterol levels well over 300 and an HDL of 20....100% natural just shoveling food down my face. I was eating around 800 grams of carbs a day...mostly sugary shit.

I have never...even on my heaviest contest prep had bloodwork that bad. I had signs of fatty liver, high bp, etc. etc. all while clean. I don't take 2 grams of shit a week but steroids will never destroy my health what food did.

we get so caught up in what supplements to take and drug protocols for health and that's all great but by a country mile diet is the most impactful thing we can control and we think of it as an afterthought when it comes to health.

yesterdays food-

~730am: ~60g carbs from Oatmeal w strawberries, bananas, and blueberries.... coffee

~9am: 4 whole eggs (regular from supermarket) w slice of colby jack cheese, and a few pieces of ham cold cut thrown in... bagel w strawberry jam... another cup of coffee

~noon: 50g iso shake, 2 blueberry muffins, mango

~3pm: steak, sweet potato

~6pm: 50g iso shake, 2 blueberry muffins

Trained ~ 7:30-9pm ... peri- (ran out of bcaas) did 150g maltodextrin/10g creatine/2 tbs glycerol

~915- 75g iso shake with 2 large rice crispy treat bars(~100g carbs)

~10:30: Brazilian dish w pork ribs, rice, corn... can't spell the name lol... edit, its called Canjiuinha com costelinha de porco

~1am: smaller portion of ^ with a brownie

~330 am- banana

OK, I happen to know a little bit about fish.

And this applies to ALL fish that are FARM RAISED or FROZEN.

Image your bathtub filled with water.
Now dump 150 1.5' foot (in this example Tilapia) into it.
Have an irrigating pump on oxygenizing the water.
And feed the fish grain (containing who knows what) several times
a day. Their entire Life they have lived like this.
As they grow they're just moved to another tank with similar size fish.

I have seen this in real life.

This is just my opinion, so I'm not trying to stir up an argument.
But for me, unless it's fresh and never frozen (like the fish you have to
go to a seafood market to buy). Sorry, Costco or supermarket fish do not count.

It's not healthy. It contains lots of sulfates, sulfites and is injected with
water so it weighs more. Nothing from China is good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's like trying to compare the red meat used at McDonalds to grass
fed beef.

Plus the taste and texture of fresh is leaps and bounds ahead of
farm raised. The problem is it's much more expensive, granted.

Personal choice I guess.

fish markets and the prices aren't too bad.

And lots to choose from.
Ain't no different than having a spot/farm that you get your GFB from.

Something that worries me immensely about fish from open water, not farm, is the amount of mercury they're finding in them. A can of tuna a day for continued time raises someone's mercury levels scary high.

I'm by no means well-versed on this subject, just something I've been reading on!
 
i just wouldn't make it MY ONLY protein source.

Never said I did brother. :headbang:... its just my fish source.... top round, chicken and egg whites are my other sources.....
