Not too bad as in processed foods, but a diet void of fruits and vegetables is not a healthy diet, glad to see you are going to add them. It's a mistake a lot of bodybuilders seem to make. A high protein diet does not mean a healthy diet. I'd rather eat a little junk here and there and have a good amount of fruits and veggies.

Don't you guys get blood pressure and resting heart rate spikes eating 5000+ calories a day? I know I do, which sucks.

K,

I don't want to turn this thread into a vegan thread, unless people
would want me to :p.

So we can take our talks to the Think Tank thread.

After 3.5 years of being 100% vegan, I'm probably more
like 85% vegan and 15% animal. Egg whites ED, occasional whole egg,
fish 1-2 meals/week, chicken 1-2 meals/week, that's about it.
No dairy, whey, or casein.

Notice any differences?

-MT

Yes sir! A young virgin of the lifestyle. If I recall correctly from past posts I've read, you are as well?

Hmm? Sodium intake perhaps? Or even blood volume being of the majority in the midsection instead of other areas (chest)? This is a good question because my heart rate absolutely increases when I'm consuming copious amounts of foods!

I bet it's just because it takes quite a lot of work for the body to digest all the food. I'll try not to overthink this one haha

Yeah, people might get upset haha! I'll hop on over to that thread. Want to pick your brain! Learning never stops!

I have in the past, but thankfully not yet.

I eat about 5700 cals a day-300 protein 750 carbs and 150 fats. I take cialis daily and I try to keep sodium at normal level. The biggest thing that has helped is upping my aromasin and keeping estrogen at normal levels.

If and is your response then it's pretty clear you just don't care. I do hope you understand differences between macro and micro at least. Enjoy the fish :)

LOL.... ..... Oh I do.... and I will... Thanks!

Fisn and venison

I hunt most my meats. Deer elk rabbitt and chicken from mostly sams club. I live on the grand river so steelies salmon walleye and smallmouth bass i load up on when the fishn is good.panfried bluegills are the best though and yes im concerned with the mercury content. Now if i just could grow some rice.

I've caught so many bluegill I couldn't even guess the number.
Didn't know they were a good eat? Usually pretty damn small!

Pizza is good, tilapia is shit? This thread is a joke.

The question was the diet. I consider that my daily diet, no? I'll drop the chicken and tilapia and replace them with pizza.

Thanks gurus....

Yes, because that's what was exactly said. Don't be a clown about it. People have the perspective of "I have to eat only clean foods," yet they eat tilapia- one of the worst fish you could eat. The whole, again, is to maximize micro nutrients. Pizza is fine in moderation. No one said daily, or multiple times a day. There's a thing called flex dieting, where you can enjoy a somewhat balanced life. if your micro nutrient uptake is met, there is no harm in having a snickers, or a slice of pizza if your macros allow for it. Quit being dramatic.

I like my chinese food but I would consider my diet very good. These days a treat for me is an 85% dark chocolate bar... oh and yes a dominos pizza is not too bad either. If you go in my kitchen at any time all you will find is pretty much...

Chicken
Turkey
Tuna
Synthepure
Beef
Eggs
Blueberries
Raspberries
Strawberries
Apples
Bananas
Pineapple
Mandarins
Rhubarb
Tomatoes
Mushrooms
Coconut Oil
Olive Oil
Argan Oil
Spinach
Asparagus
Salad
Broccoli
Greek Yoghurt
Milk
Fresh bread from bakery
Cashews and cashew butter
Almonds and almond butter
Peanut butter
Avocados
Walnuts
Wild Rice
Basmati Rice
Oats
Rice cakes

Pretty much at least 95% of the stuff I eat is on the list above.

EDIT- I forgot to list vegetables but I won't bore you with any more foods :D

Honestly, I eat pretty dang clean all DAY. Then at night... about 9pm or so I usually eat everything in the house. :banghead:

I don't eat tilapia. mainly bc they are fed GMO corn and saw some documentaries on reasons not to eat them. I do eat wild cod tho. I don't like fishy fish so I stay away from salmon.

Lately, I have just been enjoying eating clean with no hard macro to reach. Just eating clean. fruits, veggies, artisan breads, organic stuff.... but night time.. man...

I like to think I eat a fairly healthy and balanced diet it. This is what I eat 95% of the time. Offseason I have one night a week where I have a free meal and then train a weak body part the next day. I also have a high carb day where I eat two packs of poptarts pre-workout. Besides these instances, here is a normal day for me

Meal 1:
4 whole eggs
2 ezekiel muffins
230g egg whites
30g protein powder

Meal 2:
8oz chicken
4 slices ezekiel bread
18g natural almond butter

Meal 3: Preworkout
8oz chicken
80g basmati rice

Meal 4: Postworkout
10oz tuna
100g basmati rice

Meal 5:
8oz Chicken
60g Basmati rice
10g red palm oil

Meal 6:
8oz ground beef
60g basmati rice

You would love all the bread here. Top quality stuff. When I bulk it will probably be my main carb source. Most are full of protein and fibre too. Nothing beats fresh bread just baked. I am dieting so it's not like I can have melted butter on top but even just eating it plain is a treat in itself :)

Summary of the thread
- everyone basically agrees but is arguing anyway

By the look . Of it my nickname is justified...

proper HARDCORE dieting all the time,

McVey had an ironic quote on the most Geared Up. I find it hilarious how people won't eat Tilapia because it's farm raised yet inject CC after CC of gear that has a shit load of metals in it.... How ironic we are at times
